各位大牛我认为这应是文章的正确顺序，只不过因为插入语 the others......太长给进行后置了，所才成了答案的结构。而且being应该是 are，在进行后置作为修饰分句后变成了being一个分句。

如果没有波折号就很清晰了 A mixture of poems and short fiction, Jean Toomer’s Cane has been called one of the three best novels
                                        ever written
                                            a Black American

或者说成  A mixture of poems and short fiction, Jean Toomer’s Cane written
                                                        a Black American has been called one of the three best novels

我还是觉得B好吧，看了B，知道在讲什么东东，E看不懂的说~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~虽然也看不出什么大毛病。但是E的结构更好看一点，貌似。

对于E的the others being sth，这种表达方式好像也出现过几次，并且都是对的，好像有题就是说sb 被怎么了， after being exonerated and freed。 感觉就是瘸子里挑将军的感觉，没有绝对的错误。
