这题我最初选D，但是现在看也许是A!!!!

首先GMAT阅读一定要在原文定位，E选项没有相关地方，排除；

D的意思我一直不太明白“The relationship of the purchased item to the purchasing company’s end product”  有什么relationship好分？都是产品，就拿电脑来说，既是purchased item也是company's product呀

在来看我的答案A The ability of the purchasing company to subject potential suppliers of the purchased item to competitive scrutiny   

文章开头第一句话告诉我们：In corporate purchasing, competitive scrutiny is typically limited to suppliers of  items that are directly related to end products,很像文章的答案诶。

不过A最大的缺点就是它指的是direct products.唉

36大概是选D的吧,文章的第一第二句话支出了supplier partnership只是在indirect purchase的情况下才适用

文中没有讲在supplier partnership下purchase公司要多付钱啊,虽然有那么一点点小意思

文章第一句只是是说competitive scrutiny is typically limited to suppliers of items that are directly related to end products，但没讲suppliers of items that are directly related to end products就不用 supplier parnership了。第二句说“indirect” purchases更favor supplier partnership,并不是说只有在这种情况下才用。所以D不对。

B是对的，因为：“supplier partnerships” (..)which can inappropriately shelter suppliers from rigorous competitive scrutiny that might afford the purchaser economic leverage.

35不对的原因是第一段最后
