可是仔细想一想　拿大活人和汽车比？可能吗？歧义歧义，不能脱离意思语义只从形式上考虑问题。这里根本没有歧义现象。

记得OG中有个火山爆发在信里面的题目吗？ETS认为这是有歧意的，如果按照你的说法，人人都知道火山不可能在信里爆发的呀，但ETS认为就是错，所以这个理由不足

看了10几页实在没耐心再看下去了，不过我个人支持A

理由，compared with是插入语，可以拿掉看句子结构
两个and是大平行套小平行的结构，OG中有类似例子

D中compared with位置不对，明显有歧意。

哎，看来要知道什么是正确答只能期盼在N版OG中看到官方解释了。

本来我也选A的，不过看了讨论之后还是决定选D。

因为觉得很有可能ETS是在考两个分词连用的情况，如果分别修饰不同的对象，也是行得通的。也就是D的情况。

D肯定错,因为 carrying as many as seven passengers表示正载有7个人

句子就是:正载有7人的车和 most sport utility vehicles比较cost less, get better gas mileage, allow passengers to get in and out more easily, and have a smoother ride.

言外之意就是没载有7人的车不cost less, get better gas mileage, allow passengers to get in and out more easily, and have a smoother ride.

好笑的是正载有7个人的车上下车比较方便(allow passengers to get in and out more easily)

A虽然便扭,但仔细想想第一个and必不可少,如果没有,那么修饰分词 (compared with most sport utility vehicles)  不就和句字其他胃语混淆了嘛

而且and连接是两个逻辑上不干的分句也是行得通的
