I will choose A, for the following reasons:"because of" is better than "due to";  "the fact of" in E isunnecessary;  "predicted for weeks that the target will"  is awkard.

I still believe A is better.  
"... have been predicting for weeks that ... will ..." is acutally a quite commen usage.
中文意思是"...几个星期来...一直预计...将会...".

1, I am not sure whether the tenses in these 2 clauses can be different. If yes, then the "continues" in C is OK.

2, Does the " analysts predicted " still falls in the scope of "Since February"? If not, then C is better.
