I agree with lingeia & rhod, I still would choose A if the question comes in the real exam, even though I have never seen "have been doing" as the correct answer in OG. Hopefully this is not a scored question. "have been predicting" in A or "predicated for weeks" in C are not ideal in this question. But isn't it logical to have: A: Federal Reserved has raised ... since Feburary, and analysts have been predicting for weeks.... C provides an interesting perspective: "because the economy continues strong, analysts predicted for weeks that the target would" In terms of sequence, is it logical to say because sth happens now, someone did something in the past? |
