我也觉得C对.

B中的which离修饰对象radio太远啦。

感觉C中的it指代应该不是问题，如果代词前面有多个可指代对象，但是逻辑关系明确的话，可以忽略的。

我也想选c的，可是觉得 private conversation that有问题，用private conversation 代替telephone吗？

b我也觉得不对，but前后应该平行的，用which明显不通

C，that could substitute 修饰a tool ，a tool for private conversation的中心词，private conversation that could substitute for the telephone逻辑明显错，所以应该不会产生修饰歧义。

it倒是个问题，只能从逻辑关系和对称性上考虑，it不指前主语，而指前句子中的一名词是可以的。

Bwhich意思上看是指radio，可结构上是不可能的。

相比只有C.

conceive of...to be...必错。

consider...to be...ETS认为是可以的，只不过没有consider N1 N2好，在Gmat语法中不作正确答案，在Toefl中可以。

看A的时候就产生了定式，认为a tool作为补语，所以就选了B，但是也的确对后半部的which很困惑。当初没有选C在于觉得C的前半部表达很繁琐，没有B来得紧凑。现在再仔细看了C，觉得的确C表达的还算清楚，但是，我的看法和jnlvo不同，我认为，that从句不是修饰a tool，他直接修饰radio，其实这个句子是一个倒装句，由于修饰radio的定语从句过长，所以被后置，原句应该是M conceived of the radio that could substitute for the telephone as a tool for private conversation; instead, it has become ...

另一方面，好像has done的时态比之is要好，因为M conceived是发生在过去。

的确是个好题目，可惜的是如果在考场上碰到，看来我是要折戟沉沙了。
