这里a greater proportion than后面依旧是可以补出it had been, that或着不补出,in any previous election已经明确是介词短语,不给使读者产生” a greater proportion”和“in any previous election”比较的歧义,所以就不需要补出了
在我看来“it had been”是不能补出的,因为it全指代“a greater proportation”而不是核心指代“a proportation”,然而补出“that”却是可以的。
taxpayers who make more than twice as much income as THEY DID last year are subject to special scrutiny from the IRS. 如果是部分修饰的话是不是这样也是对的呢?taxpayers who make more than twice as much income as THAT last year are subject to special scrutiny from the IRS.
1. Today's technology allows manufacturers to make small cars that are more fuel-efficient than those at any other time in production history.
Bihar is India's poorest state, with an annual per capita income of $111, lower than that of the most impoverished countries of the world.
另外,这一个题有一个选项是 lower than in the most imorverished countries of the world.
I like cheese more than Roger.
I like cheese more than Roger do.
