Yes, i quite agree with what you've said. However, as i have said, i plan to go back to China and find a job. I dont think most of the HRs in China can think in the "American Way". I try to find the most suitable program, not the best. i think it would not be impossible that you learn many things and have a lot of ability but are rejected by the company just because "Sorry, we dont know your school very well" I have spent a lot in getting my latest internship and most of the interns are from those Top 5 schools.(i'm not from top 5) I asked the HR and got the answer "we only recruit students from T, P, R, F.... if there's no other consideration. You may feel very upset just as what i felt when i heard this. No difference....no HR in big company will select you base on school The web application does, for JHU and Vandy, they are treated the same in the system. You can try to regiester for an interview , and see...I guess you will get internview for both or neither from a same company |
