先去论坛搜了之前的讨论搞，似乎弄明白了一点，但还不能完全说服自己。

我现在的理解是这样的：

这道题不能多想，如果选E的话，那讲Euro那一段就没有用了。C选项就是和那一段类比得出的。而E是对原文most of which are exported to Europe的重复。

不知道对不对，求指教~~~

E talks about current, while whatever after "because" has to talk about the future or something has ramification in the future.

我是这样看的：如果要得出结论说美国制造商的生产规模，那么前提里也得有足够相关的说法，这推导才算成立。目前给出前提还没有这个意思，所以看完选项后，A和C讲的是美国制造商的生产，而C还提到了欧洲制造商的生产，也是题目里给过的说法，由此C是个更合理的选项。

虽然是老帖子，还是说一下我的分析吧。

我觉得楼主分析得很有道理啊，E选项需要加入主观信息，就是需要保证欧洲厂商不会侵占美国国内市场。而C最客观，与原文建立的联系最直接，因为原文已经说了most of the generators produced in the US are exported to Europe.说明美国国内市场还有很大的空间，而选项又说美国厂商在国内有竞争优势，也就印证了结论United States manufacturers will probably maintain significant production levels。
