Environmentalist: I disagree:  A great many cross-country skiers are now kept from visiting Milville by the noise and pollution that snowmobiles generate.
Environmentalist responds to the business spokesperson by doing which of the following?

感觉E B 都解释的通啊，答案是E,
可是B说的是消极效果（就是失去的ski-er，造成的经济损失大于   那些out-towner带来的经济效益，不也说明Environment的观点么：电动雪橇不好。

看过其他人解释后的想法：
B：environmentalists challenge the assumption that后面的内容是assumotion的同位语从句，即business认为好处大于坏处，显然和原文不符。
故排除B项。
E：business认为对城内人（those people）有好处，environmentalists否认，认为对城内人(those people)没好处。

这题我也选成B了。多读了几遍B后发现好像刚好说反了。
B.    Challenging an assumption that certain desirable outcome is outweighed by negative aspects associated with producing that outcome
B:质疑一个假设--随之而来的负面影响盖过了某个有利的结果。
而spokesperson说Snowmobiling会带来好处，所以我们要忍受(put up with)污染。言下之意(assumption)是好处大于坏处。
Environmentalist质疑了这个assumption。其质疑的方式貌似可以说成是“坏处(惧怕噪音不来)大于好处”


GMAC太狡猾了，故意把这样一个偷梁换柱混淆黑白的选项放在第二个，让人先入为主。把对象放在E，让人没心思读！这套题的RC和CR。很多做错的都是因为把选项意思读反。曾以为想法的选项很容易发觉，没想到隐藏如此之深！
不知我想法对否。
