1. 对于主谓宾俱全的比较句，如果是主语的比较，一般than后面要补出系动词或者助动词，以免歧义。（看lz的题号，我猜lz正在看语法笔记呢，关于比较句，详见旧版prep语法笔记第二部分132题下的注释）

2. E选项最后的and they引导的句子有和第一层次主句并列的嫌疑，即，they可能指代Most of the purported health benefits，benefits inhibit the formation of plaque，不合逻辑，应该是antioxidants--compounds inhibit the formation of plaque （compunds是antioxidants的同位语）,就像D选项，用that从句引导inhibit....，和前面的that从句（that are also found in beta carotene, vitamin E, and vitamin C ）并列修饰compounds.
