新药在消除细菌感染方面比链球菌更有效。貌似和题目没什么关系吧。。。。

E就比较合适，三天人们感觉好了就停药了，正好新药是三天，但是青霉素和红霉素就要7天吧。所以会复发，我的理解，仅供参考....

C是无关选项，这里说的就是treatment of strep infections ，C 扯出bacterial infections other than strep 已经和原文的意思没有关系了。治疗别的效果好不好和这里说的没关系。

也在C上犯了错误...

因为说明了新药的作用更广泛.这里的other than 就是 besides，而不是二楼说的比较

但是在仔细想想E更适合.因为文中的结论是new antibiotic比penicillin or erythromycin更防止再次感染. C 不能加强 ‘更防止再次感染’。反观E, 大多数人们都吃了3天药觉得好了，那么也就是大多数人吃了penicillin or erythromycin还是会可能发生再次感染，而如果这大多数人吃新药3天后因为新药的强效不会再次感染.所以加强了结论.
