应该还是C更合理。

原文说基本的统计结果是准确的，因为一部分的穷人和富人因为各自的原因都没被统计。那么这个假设一定是与为什么这一部分的穷人和富人没被统计还能使统计结果准确是有关的。

A：富人和穷人都是因为经济原因避免被人口普查——与统计结果是否准确无关；
B：所有的美国人都能被合理的分为穷人和富人——有一点点做假设前提的作用，但也基本无关，且取非不能是原命题一定不成立；
C：未统计的穷人的百分比与未统计的富人的百分比相近——虽然不充分，但是却很必要。因为不论是出于什么目的的人口普查，少统计了一部分穷人和一部分富人，却还能是统计结果准确的话，那这少统计的穷人部分的百分比“必须”和富人部分的百分接近才能实现这个目标；
D：无家可归的人的数目几乎等于富人的数目——无关；
E：人口普查的目的是分析美国人的经济状况——没具体说是什么状况，无法判断；
