请教申请 Phd

是先寄出申请材料，被录取后，在3-5年中完成以下要求而毕业吗？还是先完成以下要求，才可能提出申请呢？

Before admission to candidacy, the student is required t

Complete the course requirements as described.
Take and pass the Marketing preliminary examination.
Complete a faculty-supervised research paper by the middle of the second year of study.

申请时候不要这些要求，是进去后的要求

好像是入学后，读完这些课程，完成考试，才可以进一步做博士论文。

phd基本上都是有钱的。你可以去你中意的学校的网站上找一下资料看看。

in general, every PHD (Biz, Physics, chemistry......) has to pass so-called "qualification exam" in their second year. If you fail that exam, you have to graduate with a master degree.

In many schools, "Qual" is easy, but not true everywhere. The info you post here is related to that "Qual"
