ls你们说的都是我羡慕的哎。我每天干活干的累死第二天早上好不容易起来要进公司的时候完全就觉得我为什么不是个男人为什么要挑衣服浪费睡觉的时间呢。而且选择多意味着备选的也要多啊，那也意味着我得有时间去逛街啊！我巴不得像男生一样每天不用多考虑，直接买一打衬衫，每天换领带就好了。而且公司里面不管夏天冬天都巨冷，空调都是设定在男生穿正装的温度，对没有衬衫西服保温的女生来说冻得要死啊。

I don't think I've ever seen anyone carrying around a birkin, way too impractical for work; more suitable for the trophy wives.  I like to stay away from a lot of logos and monograms.  You have to balance between looking professional/stylish and looking high maintenance.

So many choices, depends on your price point.  I think ferragamo makes great leather totes that are work-friendly.  The styles are usually more elegant and understated, so you wouldn't see tons of other people carrying the same bag as you (unlike a lot of the LV bags...fine purses, but way too common).  Longchamp has some cute totes too, but stay away from the le pilage which everyone has (and is more of a casual tote anyways).  Kate Spade has very reasonable prices (and they go on sale all the time) and the Quinn is a classic style.  If you are willing to pay more, Prada and Marc Jacobs have some good styles as well, and LV's epi line is worth taking a look at.  There's also Tumi, which is hugely popular among professionals.  I don't care much for the look of their purses, but they are very well designed for business travel.

嗯，Birkin的话，感觉也就Gossip Girl里Serena她妈Lily或者Lily她妈这种有钱悠闲的阔太太背背，背去上班有点过。。。顺便八下，Hermes这牌子里基本上所有的包都有点这感觉。如果喜欢Hermes，它家的丝巾比包更适合上班一点。

LV, GUCCI：就个人口味来说实在是不喜欢～，有Logo的那种实在是街包的不能再街包，无Logo的那种出彩的款其实也不是很多。还有一点就是他们两家的大包自重（在不装东西的情况下）都很重，如果是职业女性，要鼓鼓囊囊塞一堆东西的话，背起来比较痛苦。

Ferregamo：我个人觉得鞋子比包好过很多。包的话，基本款有点沉闷，还有一些款式设计灰常奇怪。很多女的会买LV多的一个原因是LV一般不贬值，还年年涨，但如果买了Ferregamo那种奇怪款式的，等贬值吧。

Bottega Veneta：这牌子其实不错，被誉为“意大利的爱马仕”，而且比较低调，背去上班也问题不大。但价钱就中国这边的收入来说是比较咬手的，不过对于国外banker来说也是小菜一叠吧。

Loewe：也是做皮件很好的牌子，特别喜欢他家的有些款选用的napa小羊皮，非常软，使得整个包非常轻。不过他家经典箱型包和花朵包似乎也不是特别适合度假。进两年开始做一些更基本的款，有些还是适合business casual的。

Tod's：个人觉得觉得很适合上班的包的牌子，具体大家可以去看Gwyneth Paltrow拍的广告照。

Celine：也有不少适合上班的，不过不喜欢前两年主推的那款Jacquard，线条太圆滑了。个人比较喜欢那个Watch me，不过上班一般。

Mulberry：拿去上班可以吧，就还是觉得有点英国式的老气。

Chloe：衣服很少女，包包很机车。新款Paraty很有范，但也不是特别适合上班。

Prada：Parada的东西挑人，用的好有气质，用不好看不出那个价，上班的款要选选。

Miumiu：比较年轻化，适合上班么，一般吧。

Chanel：买个2.55，但不是去上班。

Fendi：没见那是Sex and city里Samatha的最爱么～～知道那是什么style了～

Coach：Forget about it～做banker还是不要背coach了吧～

有时间的话，还有独立设计师可淘，不过有时候独立设计师每季的水准不像大牌稳定，那个实在需要功力和精力。

你不是buy side? 应该没那么多讲究吧？

不过纽约是比其它地方都夸张很多。。
以前在西海岸的时候，每次有纽约总部的同事过来开会，虽然已经是很casual的HF公司了，虽然已经没人带领带了。但开会的时候谁是西海岸当地的，谁是纽约过来的，那叫一个明显，从穿着上看的是清清楚楚。。

Yep - huge difference between east coast and west coast.  If you wear your Ferragamo shoes, tie and tailored shirt w/ initials to a west coast office, you'd most likely be over-dressed.  But in NY that's just the standard outfit.  

Thomas Pink, Brooks Brothers...all good brands.  BB's non-iron shirts are pretty low maintenance.  Although I find their styles a bit too conservative.  Then again, I am based out of west coast now so there's no need to dress as formally as NY.

I went to a conference held by bloomberg the other day, everybody was so dressed up, ladies all wore fine jewelry. I had to wear ralph lauren, victor rolf to match up, and for jewelry it's a huge cost.

Coach has ruined its own brand by purposely using cheaper materials and branching into the younger (aka high school girls) market.  I actually have a large coach leather tote that came out ~5 years ago, when it was still using the good quality cowhide leather.  I carry it whenever I have to tour a development site.  No worries about scratches whatsoever.  Too bad they don't make bags like that anymore.

Mulberry's Bayswater makes a pretty good work tote.  Goyard makes some good totes as well.  It's a monogram but not as conspicuous as LV.  I have a large Gucci tote in dark gg plus fabric, which is scratch resistant and easy to clean.

BV is a good brand in terms of tote. Thanks for reminding.
Hunting independent designer is a big fun and you get much better price sometimes than the big name with same quality.
