Thank you for your interest in the Mays Master of Accounting program. Your application for 2010 admission has been carefully reviewed by the Master of Accounting Admissions Committee. Unfortunately, we are not able to offer you a place in our program. Interest in the program is at an all-time high, and admission is more competitive. Our cohort of first-year students will remain small, which is one of our most attractive features to candidates, and thus, our process of selection is difficult. For additional information, please contact the department via email at tcallery@mays.tamu.edu in Accounting or 979-845-9679.
I congratulate you on your decision to broaden your knowledge and abilities by participation in a graduate program and wish you much success as you continue your search for the right program to begin in the near future.
Should your timeline for pursuing a Master of Accounting change and you wish to apply to the Mays Master of Accounting again in the future, know that your records will be kept on file in the admissions office for one year. You may receive consideration for admission to a future semester by submitting a new application, application fee, and transcripts for any additional coursework that you complete.
All of us at the Mays Business School wish you much success in your future.
Sincerely,
David W. Blackwell Associate Dean for Graduate Programs
