首先，应该是eager to do

这里根据逻辑意思不是instead of，instead of后面的东西是被否定的
而这里应该是说“而是做了什么”， instead作为副词，其实是 doing 结构表伴随吧，关于成分这东西我也形容不清，呵呵，不好意思
