我试一下,表达两个数值的差异   1)civilians at home的死亡人数/总死亡人数(civilians +armed forces)

                              2)members of the armed forces的死亡人数/总死亡人数(civilians +armed forces)

                      即      1)375,000/(375,000+408,000)  

                              2)408,000/(375,000+408,000)

而其实这两个数值还是不能说明任何问题,不能说明conclusion的荒谬

感觉是这个意思,楼上可参考

只有按照D的做法才能揭示上文结论的荒谬。所以D并不是要指出文章的错误，而是通过提出正确的算法来reveal absurdity，所以D根本没有写反。

这个变成了数学题了呵呵,这个数字什么都说明不了,加起来的数字说明死亡的总数,不代表地区差异根本

civilians at home的死亡人数/total civilians at home

members of the armed forces的死亡人数/total armed forces at oversea

分开地方，比较两个地方的死亡比例，明显在家的居民人数要大大超过派往海外作战的军队人数，

这样理解应该清楚了。
