Trancorp currently transports all its goods to Burland

用卡车虽然比火车和船在通过隧道时慢，但是看总的SHIPPING TIME还要比隧道之外的其他时间消耗，这就要引入新的指标来进行对比，例如运行速度、装货的时间等

问的是节省时间啊 就C说的是时间啊

 没错，刚开始看很容易就选A了。

但是题目上：Therefore, to reduce shipping time，。。。。。就是为了要节省时间

请问D错在哪？是因为不直接与时间相关么？

可不可以这样推理  number of vehicles 影响conjested的程度，进而影响truck 的时间？

对，题干中已经讲到and trucks typically spend hours in traffic.  所以D选项说relatively constant in recent years这几年的时间都是相对稳定的，但这对评估是没有影响的，这几年可以一直都很慢。题目的关键是trains and barges 的“and”，也就是说火车和驳船都要用，货物先用火车运到channel （快），而后装上freight cars ，freight cars 再上barges（C选项问这步骤是否很耗时间），而后barges过河（1个小时）。这样很明确选C。
