OG11上的一道数学题关于Variance的定义是否错了？

 OG11新版中Diagnostic test的31题(Data Sufficiency)，提干为is the standard deviation of the set of measurements X1,X2...X20 less than 3? 题目(1)的选项为The Variance for the set of measurements is 4；我的解答是既然variance已经给出了为4，那自然standard deviation就是开方后的值2了，所以(1)符合充分性，可OG11的解释不同，很明显OG11认为the variance的计算方法是the difference between each measurement and the mean is squared,所以OG11的解答方式为4*20=80->80/20=4->4再开方得到2，这样得到standard deviation，虽然结果是相同的，但很明显OG11中对于variance的解释是不正确的，这个错误也太明显了吧。。。所以想和大家确认一下，多谢
