i agree its doubtful. He's 61 years old by now, so that's only possible if he's extremely productive. I heard it from the talk given by    two    students at Yale (Qian Yongqiang and Fan Wenzhong). You can download the talk at Taisha's website.

I was put on the waiting list of UT Austin. The director told me that they have already sent out 8 offers(They are going to admit 6 PhD students). Actually I visited their campus last week and received a rejection letter right after I came back.
