我觉得第一句话是说spoke at the convention的senator必须是democrat（democrat是必要条件）。第二句说明作为democrat，成为senator和spoke at the convention是不相容的，这说明democrat，senator，spoke这三样不能同时成立。第一句又限制死了，spoke如果发生的话，肯定是要有democrat的，这样可以推断，senator和spoke不能同时发生。选d。

我按楼楼上的办法帮你画图吧。spoke at the convention和senator的圈是不能有交集的，不然肯定至少违反所给的两个条件之一，你可以试试看。

第一句话：senator and spoke at convention----->democrat

第二句话：Democrat---\->（不是）senator and spoke at convention

上面两句话的意思就是不存在senator and spoke at convention，即senator和spoke at convention不能同时存在。

凡是A---->B,B-\-->A,则A不存在。因为A----->B,即A是B的子集或者只是少等外延，画饼就是A在B内或者一样大，即有交集，但B--\--->A，则A和B没有交集。这显然矛盾，解决矛盾的办法就是A的情况不存在。这样便可以A--->B和B-\-->同时存在

该题显然是LSAT题，应该不会是GMAT题
