怎么感觉不是一回事啊，可是偏偏所有的文章都把它们放一起说。求高人解惑！！！

developmental needs: something that helps you to achieve your goal.

weakness: something negative. But it is not necessarily the gap that you have to bridge to achieve your goal.

e.g. You are a programmer and determined to be an excellent developer. So your developmental needs might be better understanding on customer requirements, the cutting-edge programming skills or the architecture ability. Unable to swim might be one of your weaknesses but it could hardly prevent you from a future Bill Gates.
