I guess P/O means operation, right? Correct me if I am wrong. In terms of job placement/expectation of 2nd Chinese students' internship, most of them are interested in marketing and finance. I remember only one interned in operation function. Here are some numbers. Consumer/Business marketing: 1/2-3 out of 10, all have internship, however only one 1 interned in consumer marketing function since US companies usually don't recruit international students. Corporate Finance/IB/Investment Management: 1/1/2, all have internship. IB/IM is tough to get in, but still possible. Kelley is a target school of 2nd tier IB companies such as BofA, and Whether Kelley is a fit depends on your own judgement when most 1st tier IB died. Operation: 1 out of 10. Many companies come to Kelley to recruit, and the Operation Academy in Kelley is hot, but only a few Chinese students choose in Operation. Don't ask me why, because I have no answer. Consulting: Kelley is a target school of Deloitte consulting, but not in school pool of M B B. No 2nd year students pursue a consulting career, but a few 1st students do. You need to work hard to win a good position in competition. |
