[原创]读排名200的学校博士还能找到工作吗

如果是综合排名200的学校的 Marketing 博士， 还能在美国大学找到当老师的职位吗

自己看学校从前phd的placement就知道了

是说大多数的当老师，其它的没说干嘛去了。或者主动干别的或被动干别的？不得而知

you can write to the department and ask for specific placement after graduation.

看个人吧，据说出了特别前面的名校，88和188差别也不是很大的。

还有一个很奇怪的发现，有几个学校的经济学专业的chairman的PHD的学校好像挺一般的，我是指没有其他的老师好，或者没有他现在的这个学校好。不知道为什么，以前的时代不同？

Hope you know 1). the Ph.D school/program ranking does not mean all for its graduates

                         2). Just on average, better schools' Ph.D holders have higher achievement, but not for everyone

                         3). In US colleges, department chairman is not necessarily the best in academy, rather, most professors do not want to be a chairman or undertake "administrative" jobs which will cost their time on writing and publishing academic papers...

If one professor wants some students to work for him,  he might take the chair position to abuse some power of admitting students.
Or enjoy the process of giving comp exams.
