i got a deferred admission last year, but still waiting for the feedback from other schools. job market in Canada is tough, so i wonder whether the investment is worth?

I agree. It is a big investment.
That's why many people have to ask them the same question:
what can MBA bring back to me?

My expetation from MBA program:

1. learn business principles (how to run a business)
2. creative thinking skills. (case teaching method include over 600 real cases)
3. persuasive communication skills (think fast and respond fast)
4. huge alumni network (high reputation)
5........

So, basically, I believe that IVEY could give me all these. That's why I choose IVEY.
(Of course, Harvard may be better. But I have no chance.)

I have heard that about 20% students will recieve scholarship. Unfortunately, I am not the one.

Thanks. Niagarafalls. It is a pity, huh? More than CA$60,000 fee is not a small number. hehe. Which type of person do you think Ivey likes best, aggressive, smart or experienced ? Rotman, Ivey, which one you will choose if you got the offers of both of them?

First, I should say Ivey is my best choice due to its Case teaching method and Strong class partipation. It will definitely improve my personality and communication skills.


Second, I take somebody else's words for the tuition, "do not take the investment too serious since it's only months salary upon your graduation" I do believe that.


My career goal is to become a consultant and the latest IVEY placement report says "consulting begins with 80,000" So, the investment does only cost months salary.


To be the best, I have the confidence to take the most aggresive MBA program.
