Not necessarily. You can see that all the offers are from the big firms. They are the ones who can afford to sponsor your H1B. However, CMU is CMU, almost all the big firms go there to recruit, which means CMU students have more opportunities than tier 2 or below schools' students. I would say all the other small to medium firms still seldom recruit international students. Therefore, you can not conclude that job market in US for international students have improved just based on the results from CMU.

Thank you. It just breaking the ice and is somekind of comfort news so far. I really hope the H1b condition can be improved ASAP, not only tech analyst but all.

mism的中国人没听说有去consulting的，现在consulting的市场好像也不好，所以国际学生是比较处于劣势的，另外，去consulting你的口语至少要说得跟美国人流利，accent不重要，重要是流利，会吹...

请问lz，今年5月毕业的1 year track的中国人的工作都找到了么？他们一般是在毕业前找到还是毕业后3个月内找到的？ 如果一直拿不到h1b，是不是可以把29个月的opt用满再回国？

Consulting和IB非Tech都是不太实际的，当然你够牛的话一切皆有可能

Agree. I can say there is no such large company that not recruiting tech position in CMU.

As far as I know, not very good. An internship is extremely important if u don't have us working experiences.

You need a job to maintain OPT and 29 month extension only applies to firm that has e-verified.
