做这种题就是要考关联 三句话之间要有关联 如果有概念转移 那么弥补就OK了，如下

第一句nine scheduled flights

第二句mechanical problems with the airplane scheduled

结论：

第三句mechanical problems with more than one or two scheduled flights

第三句 与前两句之间有明显的概念转移 那就是 one or two scheduled flights与 nine scheduled flights之间是空白，于是A就解释了前者是为FOR后者scheduled的。

所以，  More than one or two airplanes were scheduled for the nine canceled flights.

当然类似的假设题 关联空白很多 但是只要是补关联就可以

因为GMAT考的就是关联和必要非充分

你真正在考试的时候 只需要在类似的题目中排除无关选项就OK了 ！

是SC中的问题 就很简单

因为二者衔接的成分不同 be due to 是谓语

because of 是介词短语

二者如果能更换的话，那原句的结构就错了

GMAT中要保留正确的，也就是忠实原文，除非结构上需要大调，方能替换，understand?

我觉得rattledrum MM的关键是没有把fights 和airplanes 分清楚(跟是不是scheduled没有关系)，因为一个airplane可以对应多个flights, 你再体会一下看看...

P.S.我这题也错了，体会了好久，仍然不能一步得到答案，我觉得是不是跟GMAT的思路有些些差异

不是很理解。

题目说了nine scheduled flight on SA were canceled，也就是说这9架飞机都是were scheduled，而不是其他were not scheduled。

答案A，more than 1 or 2 airplanes were scheduled for the 9 canceled flights，强调这9架被取消的飞机里多于1-2架的是were scheduled，这不是重复前提吗！有什么意义，干嘛说答案A是assumption？？？

这道题很明显选A

题目说九个航班被取消。flight是航班的意思。接着又说一般而言航班被取消的话是由于预定的飞那趟航班的飞机有机械故障。但是，一般不可能一天内有一至两起以机械故障为由取消的航班。所以肯定是其他原因。

作者的假设是认为是有在飞这九条被取消的航线的飞机里有最起码预订了超过一到两架飞机。

飞机-机械故障-取消飞机的航班

就是作者认为不可能一天内几架飞机都坏了，所以肯定是其他原因。前提就是肯定有好几架飞机被预订了。

这个A取非的意思就是如果只有一架飞机被预订了一天飞9次航线。那完全可能是因为机械故障原因。因为作者认为一天一架飞机发生机械故障是合理的。所以能推到一件飞机因为机械故障发生问题就会同时取消9次航线。

问道语法题，太长了，我就不打题目了。

白勇第八章的第四题，我觉得D选项仍然有歧义啊~~

In A.D. 391, as a result of the destruction of the library at Alexandria, the largest of the ancient world,.....

这里the largest of the ancient world是修饰library还是Alexandria？题目原意是修饰library吧？这里我怎么觉得是就近修饰Alexandria。

哦，知道了。我把关键单词理解错了。Alexandria是亚历山大帝时代的意思。我以为是一个国家名字。

不过还是感觉绕，觉得A的语法也没太大错误，虽然白勇说at Alexandria可以修饰the largest library也可以修饰the ancient world，会产生歧义。

大家来帮我绕绕清楚吧。
