以下是引用merrylili在2004-1-27 23:04:00的发言: fjapl, you are so nice to give me this advice. I think my biggest problem in the application is how to link my research/technical w/e with business/management. And also, how to describe my objectives after b-school with only this kind of w/e.
btw, I will apply MBA for fall 2005, still have enough time to think about this. Thank you!
It doesn't matter at all what your major was and what job you are doing. As Fjapl MM said, B-schools are seeking a diverse student body instead of a homogeneous one. Just show them you have the interest and intention to take up business or management; you have the potential to be a future leader(to some extent, you have shown that with your impressive GMAT score); and you have been preparing for a career change.
I really don't think your technical background is a disadvantage. You may wanna accumulate more w/e before you apply, I suppose.
Good luck! |
