all interview questions were behavior questions, such as "tell me a situation which made you feel...", "tell me something you did recently that...".  it helps to refresh memories, especially work related, as preparation for the interview.  know your applicaitons really well, since the interviewer would already read your application.

the majority of the bschool applicants have finance/management/consulting background doesn't necessarily mean that people with these types of background will have a better chance of getting in.  as the matter of fact, they might be at slightly disadvantage because they need to compete with a large number of applicants from the same pool.  bschools like/want diversities in their student body.  so your unique background might even give you a slight advantage, but the key is that it must be built on top of a strong application package.

reading the information that you provided, your GMAT is certainly great, but the length of your work experience is a little on the low end, for a top program anyway.  the other parts of your application (gpa, rec letters, essays, xc, etc) better be strong enough to pull your applicaton as a package up. also, make sure to get to know the schools and their styles and apply to the ones that fit you (and vice versa)...some schools prefer applicants with longer w/e while others don't focus on it as much...

just my 2 cents anyway.

fjapl, you are so nice to give me this advice. I think my biggest problem in the application is how to link my research/technical w/e with business/management. And also, how to describe my objectives after b-school with only this kind of w/e.

btw, I will apply  MBA for fall 2005, still have enough time to think about this. Thank you!
