Kellogg class2010继承前两届师兄师姐们的优良传统，在这里摆摊回答大家的问题了， 希望能够给大家提供一些帮助。

先来点好消息，今天Kellogg大扩招，所有持中国护照的一年级学生的人数在25左右，其中1 year program招了大概7-9人，直接从大陆招的应该在20个上下。而且新生的背景非常的多样化，有传统的consulting，banking，还有做媒体的，自己创业的，在公司做GM的，做技术和科研的等等，目前还不大确定这次扩招是不是Kellogg招生政策的strategic move，等9月以后有机会的话会问一下admissions office的人。

以下照片是上个礼拜去学校的private beach逛的时候拍的。Private beach离Kellogg的building走路只有两分钟。我们宿舍到湖边上也只要走5分钟。

这是西北大学里面的小湖（里面还有一个喷泉），不是密歇根湖哦

顺着湖岸看过去，就是芝加哥downtown，做Metra过去二十多分钟（我上次回来好像只要十几分钟），坐CTA大概一个小时。

这个不起眼的地方，就是西北大学正门....叫做“The Arch” （那一只拱）

Like other top schools, Kellogg attracts companies like Google and Apple to campus every year and many students successfully got in (around 10%). In fact the biggest sector of career background of Kellogg's students is not consulting or marketing but engineering (around 40%).

我手头刚好有class 2007的就业报告, average is 5.2 years。今年录取的中国学生也差不多是这个水平，平均是81年前后出生的。我是1Y的，略长一点，大概平均5.5年。

有。不过好像今年录取的人里面恰好没有（想不起来有谁，如果我搞错了请其他同学更正我）...不过有做公司财务和商业银行的。

--我觉得kellogg的最大优势是非常强的GM program.MBA的目的是为企业培养管理人才而不是研发人才.如果你想以后成为high-tech公司里的高管,definitely Kellogg是很好的选择.我自己就是high-tech公司的,就我所知,Kellogg每年都有学生是从我们熟知的那些high-tech公司来的.今年大中华大概4-5个吧

四大是申请者里占一定比例的背景, Kellogg也会招四大背景的. KELLOGG去年和前年都有四大的,而且不止一个

看了看今年的中国学生录取情况，有年轻化的趋势，平均在4.8-4.9年左右，从3年到7年不等。有好几个工作3年的。
