有点无稽之谈了~~无论从逻辑上，还是语法习惯上，都是指代children啊。

还是疑问多多啊：
B，是因为有分号在，所以可以不用考虑后面一个句子的过去完成时和前面一个句子的一般过去时之间可能存在的矛盾么？
C，可不可以这么理解，six hours a week是一个频率，然后一个频率是不可以被spend的？
E，还是没有明白这个选项错在哪里，请NN指教！

明白了，E的意思是说这个数字的增长实在1997年完成的，而不是到1997年涨到了six hours a week，所以改变了句子的原意

我觉得是这样的，如果用逗号的话，前后两句的主语应该是一样的，但是用分号的话，应该是表示并列意思的不同主语。。。。。
