牛津大学MBA居然要求GPA>=3.5?！ 而且发了几次mail都没有回复，申请体验太差了。妈的，凭我GPA88， GMAT>700,IBM工作4年的经历，真不想申请这种烂校了。

yes, that's true. They are very demanding in acedemic background.
Besides, they don't accept my toefl score, as my toefl score will be expired at the time that the program starts.

鬼学校要求是挺高.
不止这些:还要求有管理经验,最好不低于5年工作经验.今年MBA TOUR 在上海,我要他的资料,那个老外还很拽,跟我聊了好一会儿才给我.要不是帮朋友要,才不稀罕他的东东呢.

GPA88, GMAT>700, IBM 4 years. So what? thousands people have similar background.

I see several people with GPA4.0 and GMAT>750 around. International companies several years. If you are chinese studentwith GMAT < 700, then just do not dream of entering into top schools. the 700 is only entrance line.

Said is certainly a good school. The only thing because it is young does not mean it is not a top school.

Dear ella,

Could you help me analyse weather it is possible for me to apply for the 2004 MBA of Cambrdge and Oxford. I have more than 14 years commercial banking experience, mainly in international banking. I graduated from Peking University, English Department. My GPA is around85. I used to be a sub-branch manager and now I am a general manager of a division in a commercial bank branch. I have professional qualifications relating to finance. My ILETS score is 7 with each item above 7. I am going to take part in the GMAT Test soon. The score would probally around 680 to 720. But I am not very good at math. Thanks!

有硬性指标的学校一般都很难做TOP 10. 它们需要GPA, GMAT 拉名次. 感觉不好还是不要申请了, 毕竟要花很多钱. 买卖婚姻, 你就应该挑个猛一看还可以的, 不然后悔就没有救了!

五楼的: GMAT 700以下一样有机会. 我知道一位只要GMAT过600就能去Wharton, 她是大陆的. MBA申请又不是考中国的大学, 分数不是绝对的.

Oxford SAID Programme is not really an excellent business school as  it seems to be , although it shares the prestigious brand with its peer colleges.

It certainly has ambitions which has beens reflected in its recent 2004 MBA ranking by Finanicial Times.

However,it has a long way to go for that ambition and it is even good news if it can keep its top 5 or even top 10 position in UK.

"GPA >=3.5 " is not necessary. This requirement is only for PhD or Master applicants, Not for MBA    applicants.    


I have got Said offer. My GPA is < 3.5, and GMAT is <700. Therefore,     I would say the criteria of Said    is quite flexible.
