牛津大学MBA居然要求GPA>=3.5?！

Congradualtions! Audrey_ zhou. I am planning     to     apply the Said MBA, but it seems too late to apply for this year's programme. Can you help to exolain some important tips    about the application?

it is interesting to see so many people commenting on SBS MBA program. i do not want to trap myself in any argument because everyone can hold his/her own position with good reasons. what i want to know is how many people here really know the truth?

搂主真是有意思。一般很强调gmat，gpa的人其实往往都不是牛人。牛人都是匆匆忙忙考个分数就申请了，哪有那么多时间做题啊。


你在ibm工作4年根本就不make sense,要看你4年做了什么. 如果你在BCS做了四年行业咨询或服务，或是在ISU做了4年行业销售，那你的工作经验还是不错。你要是在ITS装了4年机器，SWG支持了4年软件，PSG卖了4年笔记本电脑，那你就别在这里show off了。

真正牛的ibmer需要一个SBS的mba么？ IBM里面给你的发展机会还不够多，还是。。。

I have got Said offer. My GPA is < 3.5, and GMAT is <700. Therefore,  I would say the criteria of Said is quite flexible.

Same here. depends on your experience. I feel I must fail to get the offer after the interview. Well. Not decided it's worth to go. Very strong alumni network though.

想不到我半年前发的帖子居然又被发掘出来了，结过半年的申请历程，我有了一些新的心得：
1、Said应该不需要GPA>3.5

2、和Cambridge的Judge类似，Said虽然还不是顶尖MBA，但还是颇具水准的，而且前景看好；

3、回应15楼的兄弟fishtail，我是做电信行业咨询的。但话说回来，即使我是在IBM装机器，卖笔记本又怎样？只要在平凡的工作中能体现自身的leadership，passion，teamwork，那么从申请MBA的角度来看，你并不亚于来自于MC和投行的XDJM，你说呢？

我相信不是每一个Dream chaser都有在MNC，MC或投行等所谓体面公司工作背景，按照你的论调，这些人就不该有雄心壮志了吗？就不该挑战顶尖MBA了吗？就该老老实实地继续装机器吗？

和投资股票，房地产是一样的。要考虑到性价比及升值潜力。Oxbridge 的独特的校园文化是别的学校无法模仿和无可比拟的。英国近期采取了许多改革措施，经济得到极大的发展，已经成为欧洲第一。就业市场看好。
