在美国的H1B转F1 + 海滩度假提议

Just an idea. I know there are quite some people in the states planing to change their visas from H1B to F1 before schools start. You can either file a status change with INS, or travel out of the states to apply for F1 in a consulate. (I would highly recommend latter, since a lot of schools have winter international trips. A F1 stamp from a consulate will guarantee you multiple entrances so you don't need to worry about re-entry during the school year.)

So my proposal is to the people who plans to go to Canada or Mexico - TJ or CJ are the most popular places, I know, but any of you guys/gals interested in a trip to Cancan Mexico ? There is a USA consulate there. More importantly, now it is party time after all is settled and done. Cancun is the number one Spring Break spot for USA college kids - great beach, great food, great bodies, great civilazation, and great entertainments. What can be a better way to shake off the load and anxiety from the application process and prepare for a new chaptor in life?

So my idea is to spend around one week in there, spending one morning/afternoon to obtain F1 visa, then having a little fun of ourself........how does that sound?
