wow, I just back from biz trip, quite glad to see you guys left message here. Thanks for giving me encourage, so, lets move the ass then. 呵呵,谢谢大家的支持。最近工作忙,都没有怎么上来看。其实,我的真正想法是希望大家能对我所列出的Case有一些想法。如果大家觉得case分析太长,那么,我们是不是可以采取一些别的方式。有好的建议大家可以提一下。或者是一个问题一个问题的来讨论?我开这个帖子的原因就是我了解决大家不能聚在一起面对面的交流的困难。如何让我们在各自合适的时间里面,达到训练case的目的,是我的初衷。我会再考虑考虑,给出一个比较合适的方法,请大家也集思广益。谢谢。

Just share with you some of my thoughts. I have not done case for a long time, so the skills is rusted.

As to the SUPER REGIONAL BANK case.

First is to come up with the issue tree. one example could be

Issue 1: will it increase/decrease revenue?

twig 1: who is our customer and their banking behavior?

2: who is our major competitor in the region, what do they do?

3: what products do we offer and compare to our competitor?

4: Can we freeze the brand staff to increase more revenue?

Issue 2: will it decrease our operation cost

twig 1: what is the compsoite of our today's brand operation cost

twig 2: what is will be new cost if using call center?

Issue 3: Cost benefit analysis:

twig 1: what is the evaluation criteria? Payback period or NPV?

twig 2: What is the upfront investment?

Issue 4 Risk/mitigation

Twig 1: will it diminish our customer satisfaction?

twig 2: how to ensure a smooth transition

twig 3: will it be consistent with any long term strategy such as, plan to go nationwide instead of keeping regional?

After generating above issue tree, you need create hypothesis on each twig and prove or disapporve it by questions or business sense. In the end wrap up your analysis in a concise way.

Hi, Thanks for sharing. It is great. It was I expected from you guys to input. Everyone can give your suggestion or experience on the case. We can practice on line any time.

I am going to give my suggestion later when I home. Does anyone have more things or quesions, please shout.
