没有full time工作经验，三年的phd研究经历可以用来申请MBA吗？

小弟我在米国一排名３０+的大学读生物博士，从未工作过。现在有心想通过读MBA来change career。都说工作经历很重要，我想请问各位我这种研究经历在申请时会有用吗？我不觉得我这３年的经历跟实验室里full time工作的博士后或者technicion有太大的区别阿？请问有谁知道类似的例子嘛，不胜感激！！！

I only knew people went to MBA after their Ph.D degrees; 

From my point of view, a student who dropped off from a Ph.D program is in even weaker position than a fresh college graduate because drop-off student only has shown failure, while fresh college graduate at least has potentials.

Of course, if you have greencard, you can always find a MBA program for you.

I guess there are some options you can think.  One is to got a master degree and work two years; or try to apply MBA program in your school (you can say you want a Ph.D/MBA dual degree).

i totally agree that getting a master and working for 2 years before applying MBA is much better. but it is really hard for bio people to find jobs in industry. and that's the main reason i wanner quit...getting a dual degree might be possible, if the business school in my university is willing to accept me, hehe.

You need a good story regarding your motivation and rationale for the switch and a convincing argument on how you'll be successful in your future career, utilizing your background and the MBA education.  Good luck!
