先申Entrepreneurship再说

再前100的学校里面一顿好找

Director. Michadel  号称全球创新管理排第六,也是没发现出处...

其实entrepreneurship还是蛮不错的

Entrepreneurship is not bad but people like to position themselves as strategy guys and minor to entrepreneurship because it is easier to find a job and get tenure.

as a matter of fact, i plan to minor to Finance...

Because it seems impossible for me to apply for PH.D in Finance directly.

Unfortunately, I don't agree with you.  People who major in entrepreneurship are easier to find a job as the market is hot for entrepreneurship right now.  Our first PhD student graduating next year has already got an offer in the beginning of her third year.  Besides, it's not too hard to come up with an interesting research idea for entrepreneurship is a new field.  Although schools that provide a PhD program specializing in entrepreneurship are few, the number is growing.

I am aware that many of strategy researchers are trying to develop a theory named strategic entrepreneurship, difining entrepreneurship as a subfield of strategy.  As an entrepreneurship student, however, I am stick with the notion that entrepreneurship is an independent discipline as it is not only about strategy, but related to OB, marketing and even finance.

It should be UW, not UM.. This year, we enrolled two students in entreprenneurship. One from States, the ohter from South Africa.
