It is possible, but not likely, to get a scholarship in the 2nd year. Maybe it is more realistic to apply for assistantship, which depends on your background and luck. Personally, it is highly risky for me to depend solely on the 2nd year's scholarship and assistantship. Just in case there is no such chance, how to pay the tuition and fee?

Regina,

I don't suggest that you apply for MSU MBA program,    assuming    you still want to stay in the Finance industry. MSU MBA is a very good program for me but it is strong at Supply Chain Management (SCM)    and have a good niche in HR. Even though quite a few students choose Finanace as their concentration but international students are difficult to find a corporate finance position. Unless you want to turn your career path to SCM or have personal reasons, please think again.

Your application profile is fine. GMAT is Ok for the admission, but not enough to secure financial aid. TOEFL is also OK. Your work experience is GREAT. Why not try to apply for Chicago, NYU or even OSU?    Email me at zgshome(A) hotmail.com for any of your questions and I    am also very interested in having some contacts in the VC.

For All Interested in MSU,

The BusinessWeek posted an interview with the admission director of MSU Broad Business School. Even as an insider, the interview is very informational and helpful. Have a look at the link below but you need pay for the full transcript.
