GMAT过了700差别不大; 有相关经验会是个优势. 把握吗, 只有你自己申请了才知道. 就算去问教授, 也是一样的回答. 都不知道其他的申请者, 如何说你的把握呢?  给MACC的奖学金可不多, 主要是给PHD学生的.

建议申请MASTER和PHD的, 直接去问招生的教授. (它们不象MBA, 每年招100多) 主动联系教授可以留一个好印象.

新学期就要开始了. 讲讲今年的情况.

2nd Year: Five Chinese students have almost finished their summer interns in four companies located in Michigan, Illinois and Indiana. The average internship salary is something around $4000 per month. They worked in the Supply Chain Management, Operational Finance and Information Technology.

1st Year: Nine Chinese students are enrolled this summer and one student is involved in the exchange program.

If you are interested in some details. let me know and I might find them for you depending on what you will ask.

我的情况大致如下：

GMAT： 740， 6.0。 Toefl：230-290。 最后成绩还没出来。

本科和研究生专业都是 英文。 郁闷的专业，好像毫无优势。

工作经验两年， 第一年是 assistant to Vice GM of Sales,  第二年是 manager of sales internal affairs,  

主要负责：市场预测， 每日定价，销售/回款计划跟踪，货物发运安排。 同时也负责部分区域的大客户的销售工作。

工作经验好像短了点，对吗？

目前因为depent pass, 人在国外，有1年没有工作了。但不是北美。

我本人始终对marketing 感兴趣。 从前面的帖子得知broad 的supply chain 很好， 我像问问marketing 怎么样？

像我这样的背景申请marketing有戏嘛？

还有，我也是没有银子读不起的， 如果申请financial aid 是不是希望不大？

I feel the marketing concentration in Broad is emphazied on market research and technology, saying quantitative analysis. I don't know if you want to learn that. I doubt whether your working experiences can bring you an admission as an international student. Let the scholarship alone.

It seems my ademic background and working experience has  little concerns with quantative analysis.

G660， T607，GPA82/100，学财务的管理学学士，三年外资事务所审计经验，一年零售业财务经理，现任“坐家”。很多人劝我重考GT，可我实在不想再考了。请问我的条件申请MSU怎么样。另外，能不能推荐几个我够资格申请的学校？如果国外没有合意的学校，申请中欧怎样？谢谢！

Anewyear,

Hopefully a new year is also a good year. According to my own experiences, your GMAT is fine and you don't need take it again; however, you have better get a new TOEFL score. Your TOEFL score may make you lose the interview chances. And 620 will be OK for you, I guess.

The target schools will depend on your career interests. With a decent TOEFL score,  you can apply for most Tier 2 schools (on BusinessWeek) and some in Tier 1. Remember that your admission may depend on your interview. The interview depends on your working experiences, the essays and GMAT/TOEFL.

我不是"好人"! 呵呵, 总觉得"好人"好像容易欺负的样子. 我的信条是"青春红似火, 不服咱就挫" (哈尔滨来的); 不过能帮人就帮了. 我也接受过别人的帮助呀.

OK, 回到正题. 你的GMAT和GPA都很好. 670肯定够用了. 我想有奖学金的机会想当大. 赶紧考TOEFL, 赶紧申请. 当然质量要保证. 你的工作经历很匹配MSU, 对录取/INTERN/工作都会有帮助.

除了SCM, 这儿的会计也不错. 国际商务也行. 本科的金融比MBA相对好. Marketing? 不太知道. HR, 不错. 不过纯属个人意见.

另外这边民风尚好, 气候凉爽, 物价较低, 娱乐贫乏. (爱看美式足球的例外)
