I think that you can call the number you have got from the admission office to ORDER an interview in near future. I don't think that it will start at once. You must give the interviewer some time to read your application before talking with you. Right?


Regarding preparation, you may review your resume and essays again and think of why you want a MBA degree, why MSU Broad. ect.     I don't know if you need pay special attention to something. Just be yourself and it will be fine.


You may want to look at the interview between MSU MBA Admission Director and BusinessWeek. That is pretty helpful. I have posted the link above.

I think broad is not so friendly to international students because they pay more attention to the local market and     worry about the employment rate of the international students.

I applied for MSU in R2 and just got the waitlist notification last weekend.     Any suggestion on how to move myself off the waitlist?

I would suggest that you review your application package again and call the admission office to discuss how to make your application more competitive. Anyway it will not hurt you. I think that there is still a chance for admission if you get a waitinglist; however, financial aid wil be a problem.


May I know your background and those scores? Then we can discuss more details.

Thanks for the advise, zgs.        got    good news from UM    before March 12 and will probably head for that although the tuition is quite high there.     Hopefully, they have a very friendly    loan program.
