答案是E。这道题蛮绕的。我想了半天,最后选了A,请NN指教。

虽然我觉得A也不对,但是,比较来比较去,觉得如果electrical wires能比fiber-optic长距离的传信号,那么会减少regenerator的使用。但是,觉得又和题目第一句相悖了。

E也奇怪,很多厂商开始发展高级regenerator技术,不代表Light-Line就会失去竞争优势呀。LL也能发展高级技术啊。

That's besides the point. Light-Line only benefits from long-distance fiber-optic network, but if the newer technology allows signals to travel farther with less number of regenerators, then Light-Line won't be the beneficiary.
