Hi, I am interested in applying for Smeal School of Business.

I know it does not require related work experience in supply chain management before enrolling Smeal and concentrating on it.

But as international students like us, can we land a job in supply chain in USA without any relevant work experience before?

Does it require a lot quantitative knowledge such as statistics, finance, to secure a job in supply chain management?

 

I ask those questions because I am wondering, if I want to concentrate in supply chain management, whether I should find a job in supply chain before pursuing a MBA in order to increase my probability of securing a job.

有个名词叫“相关工作经验”，怎么相关，那得看个人的具体经历了。

无法用一个标准衡量之。

我有同学从前是记者，找的工作就是SCM方向。

Can not choose the School Code!!

On the Smeal MBA program application form, step 2. The School Code
Search can not find my school. The "Embark Field Chooser Page" tells me
that "If search continues to return zero results, please search under
"other institutions attended" and select OTHER INSTITUTIONS ATTENDED".

The problem is Where is the "other institutions attended"??? There is no such option on the application page.

It's highly urgent since the applicaiton deadline is approaching!!

Actually, I already solve the problem and submit the application.
It's a little bit confusing. Just fill in "other institutions attended" on the search field, and a placeholder code will be returned.

Just a reminder, Smeal MBA Program has lowered its minimum TOEFL speaking score from 23 to 20.

I received the interview invitation today. Can anyone give me some advice on interview preparation of Smeal?

In mail, Smeal suggested use internet tools (Skype). I'm not confident with the ADSL connection. Maybe call interview is a better choice, right?

About Questions in interview, I will surely prepare "Why MBA?", "Why Smeal?". Is there any other topics that Smeal may focus? Principled Leadership or Professional morality?

BTW,How many people can receive the interview invitation if he or she submit the online application before the 1st round deadline? All?
