From the last posts, is it true that new policy will restrict the percentage from a single country to 12% at most? Why do China students only represent 3%? It's not matching the populationa and economy scale of China.

for those that attended the information session, you can understand what insead is looking for.

i believe IN MY OPINION (so as to avoid offending people), the following reasons are possible:

- some students struggle to fit the global mindset criteria.  not a lot of people have had the experience of working/studying in a different country than their home country.  that in itself can be an issue for all potential students.
- for some, it could be the dual language entrance acceptance rule...

Hi there, I know this is last minute but I am really worried...

am hesitating whether I should apply R2 or R3... my essays still need further polish but I think they aren't that bad either.  Wondering whether in R3 the acceptance rate will normally drop by a great deal... any insights?

Hi, everybody.

Haven't been here for a while. I'm not only very busy with my application but I need to retake TOEFL as well.

Inseadsh, do you still want info for your trip? I have traveled in Turkey before my first job and really fell in love with Istanbul. I don't know why, but the city's 历史感 is so strong that it made me almost want to cry everytime I took the ferry accrossing Bosporus.

I went to Kapadokia region as well and I found the region intersting. If you go there in winter, pay attention on weather which can be extremely cold in the center of the country. The hotel I have stayed did not have any heating equipment.

I've also been Izmir and Ephesus, an ancient Roman city on the Aegean Sea cost.

I came to Istanbul by overnight train from Athens and left from Istanbul by flight. All rest trips were done by autobus. Turkey has a relatively modern road network and good bus service, comparred with other aspects of this country.

Fos visa issue, it was very simple. I got my visa from consulat in Lyon in 5 minutes.

Thank all of you for sharing.  All of the information is valuable!  Insead is my dream school.

Introduce my background first: graduated from mainland top university in 2002. Economics bachelor degree. 3years marketing in top US IT company and 2.5years marketing from china telecom provider. I have around 2 years overseas working experience in Europe and Asia.  My first question is do I have chance to enter insead under such a background? Second question is my GMAT score may be 700(not take yet). Can I apply under such not a high score? Third question is I plan to apply for round 2 of 2009 Jan intake due to GMAT/toefl exam time. Is there any difference between round 1 and 2?

Not sure inseadsh take the Turkey trip or not yet? stronly recommend istanbul and 棉花堡，成龙的特务迷城是在istanbul取景的，影片中徐若瑄一席白色长裙在古堡一般的地方飘逸着，颇有味道。

--700 is not bad, higher better

--the only difference is the summer intern of Jan intake, which is very important for investment banking
