Basically, it is that you get a translated version from notarization bureau in China, if your DL is old version with no English on it.

Or, if you are outside China, and where you can apply for an international Driver's License, just spend 20-30 dollar and apply one for the sake of troubles.

But when I consulted what materials I need for the visa of my wife, they said my family cannot go to France in one year...

I am totally confused: after one year, I will come back to China.I will probe for more details.

Sinocheetah, I am sure there's a way your wife can come with you.

Just push the local consulate to give you an answer.

And there are lots of partners on campus here... there should be a way for your wife to get a Visa.  Have you emailed Sabine for information? Good luck!

One quick question:  those guys head to Mckin/BCG... are they doing MC or IT consulting ?

That is really amazing 150 out of 400 (roughly) people work in top consulting firms.

another one is could you guys please provide some chinese students info who got a job in consunting firm after MBA?

to answer your question: both.  some go into MC while others go into the IT consulting arm of McK.  it all depends on the background of the individual.  if they have technical background, McK is inclined to bring them into the IT consulting arm.

what type of information are you looking for, with regards to those chinese students that have gotten into consulting after MBA?
contact information?  then i would say that it is impolite to give their contact information on a forum like this.
background information?  they come from various backgrounds.  some hail from consulting, while others come from industry.

go to the insead information session.  you can find out if there's one coming up in your area
go for the world mba tour.  insead usually has alumni helping out there.  from there, it is much easier to get their contact information.

there is no such thing as IT consulting arm of McK.

please don't confuse/mislead people here. if you are from NGO, then stick with NGO which is sth you know.

there are other posts from you that are apparently misleading as well.
