read through 6 pages of postings. seems like the insead alumni have answered all questions.
good luck to those that have applied for the jul 08 intake.
as i have told some applicants previously, the only difference between the jul and dec intake is that extra 2 months. you can do an internship which helps to further your case. this is important for career switchers.
VC/PE market is booming in China these days. for those PE firms that have not entered the China market, they are looking to do so and hope to jumpstart their office by hiring people with industry experience. apologies in advance if i offend people with the next statement, but i believe that the quant side of PE can be picked up. so going on that premise, then these PE firms should be looking for people with deep industry experience. in China, this usually also equate with some good connections/guanxi.
my opinion is that within 5 years, the VC/PE market will dip slightly. too much money, too little good deals around.
for those that are considering applying to business school in general, give it some thought. it may be 1-2 years of your life.
i think that you need to translate it into english. ask for the universal driving permit (this is basically a translation of your chinese permit into all the different languages).
i know of people that did not even translate their license and am able to get the rental car.
as for how long, i have absolutely no clue. they did not really check. and trust me, driving license is never an indication of anyone's driving ability. i have seen very bad drivers that have licenses...and these people are not drunk when they are driving!!!
