我觉得d　不能解释产量增加，如果总的株数增加一倍，但每株的产量减少超过一倍，那正亩总产量还是减少

选对了，但是不明白(E) with the closer spacing of the rows, the acreage on which corn is planted will be utilized much more intensively than it was before, requiring more frequent fallow years in which corn fields are left unplanted 是什么意思啊？难道玉米需要干旱year?而unplant是人工耕种的意思，不是不种植玉米的意思呀？

e是说你现在不是种的密度高了吗, 也就用utilize这些地用的狠了, 所以需要给这些土地更频繁的休息(就是啥都不种)

我觉得这个题目应该这样理解：

题目中有个double their profits，而我们看（D）中即使种的数量double了，但是因为单位产量的减少，因此每亩产量不可能double，也就是说无论如何无法double the profits。

因此两者比较（A）更靠近正确答案

问题大大的，d每株的产量减少，每亩种的株数增加，无法得出最后每亩产量增加或减少的结论，也无从得知最终利润的得失。但是a 除草成本下降也不能得出每亩利润增加的结论呀，除草成本下降可能使每单位土地上的种植成本下降，但是如果单位土地上玉米的产量减少，除草成本摊到每个玉米上同样可能增加，导致利润降低。即使单位土地上玉米产量增加，相应的除草成本降低，提高利润，但是因为每亩的产量不得而知，不能推出每亩的利润增加，请NN指教。
