Q28:

In the rectangular coordinate system, points (4, 0) and (– 4, 0) both lie on circle C. What is the maximum possible value of the radius of C ?

A. 2

B. 4

C. 8

D. 16

E. There is no finite maximum value.

两点的距离可以是任意一根玄与圆的交点。

畫出來的話難道不可以想成圓心在(0,0) 那半徑不就是4了嗎有請牛人指點

如果是最小半径，那当然就是B. 4。

但最大可能半径，是无法由两点决定的。试画一下图就知道了。

奇怪我一定是題目沒看懂

(4,0)跟(-4,0)不都在x-axis上而且在同一個圓圈上要是半徑不是4的話那還有可能在同一個圓上嗎怎麼還會分最小跟最大半徑? 苦惱ing 請nn開導

我觉得是E，因为（-4,0）跟（4，0）不一定是在直径上。我们可以想做在圆心画一条垂直线，那（-4,0）跟（4,0）可以是任何在直线两旁又在圆上的点，不对请大指正
