不过这个学校的Finance Program今年很奇怪 申请之前说要招人 把材料确认了之后再无音信 拒信也没有 发邮件问了一个中国老师 说他们Department今年的主要目标是招Faculty 不是PHD 说不知道谁在管PHD招生！狂晕！白交申请费了！

版上有人有接到这个学校的消息吗？

To echo518: Sorry, I don't know anything about finance department. The accounting department has made an offer and has one position to fill.

To profcpa: Agnes Cheng is going to be the Director in PhD progam at LSU in August. Another professor is going to join LSU with her too.I know UC placed a graduate in 2003 to UT Austin, but the main reason is that graduate had a publication in Accounting Review. As far as publication is concerned, don't you think a better adviser would be more important than a better school?

I have made oral acceptance to LSU on the campus visit in March. I feel unethical not to sign on the written offer.So probably I will tell UC next week not to go for a campus visit.
