我的理解如下：

题目的意思是说改杂志说，先有了个保守的view,为了寻求平衡，（而不是对某种观点有倾向性）我们才找自由主义观点的。

C选项说：既然你是为了寻求平衡，而不是倾向于某种偏好的观点。那么如果你第一篇拿到的是自由主义立场，那么你会不会再寻求更多的观点（即如果是真是为了寻求平衡的话，它应该会去寻求conservative的观点的。）
